Feminisim(Erin Claire C. and Cassidy)

This is a photo of The Una a news paper by Paulina Wright Davis to give women support
Lucy Stone's Father did not want her to go to school but was finally convinced to let her go by. Lucy
Stone soon became the first women to have a collage education.Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Staton. These two were great friends and gave an average of 80 speeches on womens rights for 45 years. They also published a magazine supporting womens rights. Cady came up with the ideas and Susan wrote them down and gave most of the speeches. Many think that they were the perfect duo and that they completed each other.
Elizabeth Cady Staton with her daughter Harriot. As well as being a great womens right figure Cady was also a caring mother. Susan and Cady were such good friends that many times Susan would babysit Cady's children.
Susan B. Anthony in her older years. She and Cady also did many speeches to promote the Temperance movement. They both had experience with abusive and alcoholic husbands.

there where many feminists who did not only fight for there rights but also for the rights of saves and free blacks. These women also they were religiously active and fought in the temperance movement. These women are some examples of this. Black women however were not a big part of the feminist movement however. Even though for its about as bad as you can get with both racism and sexism.
