In the 1800s many people were effected by discrimination. many different groups were targeted some of the people effected were people apart of different religious groups, Irish immigrants, African Americans and women.
During that time people didn't understand why they were targeted and discriminated against except for their color and orgin.
Hers a sign that was put in windows to show that people weren't welcome.
1862 there was a song that created the sign no Irish need apply.
Riots were often broken out to try to end the discrimination between people.
There are also several different forms of dicrimanation. some specific forms are social, cultural and against belief's.
