Drummer Boys

Here are some drummer boys being trained on how to "cue" soldiers of when to fire and where to aim, etc. They mostly range from 13-16 years of age.









Here is a young drummer boy being taken by one of his fellow soldiers, because the boy was injured. This was very common, although a lot of the time, the boys were just left there. Even if they survive the terrible war, their lives will never be the same. They are scarred for life, they have seen horrible sights.
