Quakers (The Religious Society of Friends)

Left: George Fox, founder of the Quaker religion. He believed he had been sent by God to preach. When none of the other religious groups gave him inner peace, he then established the Society of Friends in 1652. Quakers believed that everyone was created equal and believed that violence was not the answer.
